Skryne retain Div 2 trophy with unbeaten run over St Cuthberts.

Skryne U13’s are Div 2 Champions and retain the cup for a second year. Also they kept the same record as last years U13’s going unbeaten in the Div 2. A fantastic display by the players in Dunganny today who showed that the Future of Skryne is Bright, Eamonn Barry complemented the players on some fine display and point taking, Something that a Senior team would be proud of, Congratulations to the Skryne Players and […]

Great effort from Skryne just fails Donaghmore/Ashbourne 1-14 Skryne 2-07 U21 Football Championship – Final For the second year in a row Donaghmore/Ashbourne and Skryne met in the Under 21 Football Championship Final – this time in Dunshaughlin. The playing surface was a credit to the Dunshaughlin club and was in pristine condition considering the time of year and the amount of rain and frost we encountered lately. Like last year the end result was […]

U15’s claim Division 3 title over Kilbride in Dunganny !!!

Skryne U15’s were due to play their final on Friday 11th but it was luckily enough as the inclement weather was poor on the friday and throw in was moved to Sunday 13th with a 1.30pm. Skryne had beaten Dunderry in a tough game in the Semi Final. The venue was Dunganny and conditions were ideal for a match. Skryne met up an hour before hand and Kilbride were the opponents and the only ones […]

Semi-Final Conditions were ideal in Walterstown for this high noon encounter between Skryne and Trim in the Under 21 Football Championship semi-final. Skryne got off to a slow start in this game with Trim registering the first 4 points before Skryne woke out of their slumber in spectacular style with Darragh Campion finishing to the net to pull Skryne back into the game. U21 Championship Quarter Final. Skryne 1-06 Ratoath 0-08

Late goal sees Skryne through Skryne 1-06 Ratoath 0-08 U21 Football Championship. Quarter-Final Skryne reached the semi-final stage of the Under 21 Football Championship after this quarter final victory over Ratoath in Ashbourne last evening. After a day of persistent heavy rain the pitch resembled a paddy field and was just about playable which made good quality football almost impossible. As a result both teams found it difficult to come to terms with the underfoot conditions […]

Senior Championship Semi Final. Donaghmore Ashbourne 1-09 Skryne 0-08

Donaghamore/Ashbourne best in poor Game Donaghmore/Ashbourne 1-09, Skryne 0-08 Senior Football Championship. Semi-Final As mentioned in a previous report ‘Goals win Games’ and once again this proved to be the case in this SFC semi final played in Pairc Tailteann on Sunday. In this game only one was scored but it proved crucial to a Don/Ash win over Skryne in a most disappointing match particularly for the Blues who never remotely looked like the team […]

Senior Championship Quarter Final. Skryne 1-11 Summerhill 0-09

Skryne Reach Last Four Skryne 1-11 Summerhill 0-09 Senior Football Championship. Quarter-Final Skryne have reached the semi-finals of the Meath SFC for the first time since 2010. In a highly entertaining game played in Ashbourne this evening they had a five point win against a more physical Summerhill outfit. The conditions for the game were dry but with a difficult cross wind that didn’t help either team. Summerhill started the match much better than Skryne and scored […]
