Mouthguards We have negotiated a discount with Elvery’s and we can supply Boil & Bite type mouthguards for just €5 each.  We will have these for sale at registration. Remember all underage players must have mouthguards before either training or playing. Registration Registration will take place this year at the clubhouse from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 2nd March, and the following Monday to Friday from 7pm to 8:30pm.

  Most of you will have heard through the media about the new GAA rule regarding mouthguards for underage players. The new rule came into force on 1st January this year, and we are obliged to enforce this ruling. Skryne Underage players of all ages (from U6 to Minor incl.) not wearing mouthguards will not be allowed to either train or play. The Underage section of Skryne GFC held a very successful and enjoyable fundraiser in the form of a Mr & Mrs Competition in Swan’s Lounge on Saturday 27th October. We are trying to organize a Cardiac screening day in Skryne for Males and Females between 14 and 36 (those under 16 must have parent/guardian consent). This will be open to everyone, particularly those who play any sport in the parish. The cost will be €45 per person and each screening will take approximately 5-7 minutes. The future of Meath football lies with the underage teams, and on Tuesday 17th April our young players got a sneak preview of what lies ahead when the Sam Maguire Cup visited Skryne. Many of the kids pictured below are already showing huge potential. If they keep going the way they are, this won’t be the last time some of them lift the Sam.  

Skryne under 13 boys play their second game of their div one campaign with a home match this friday evening against st.colmcilles at 7.30, their first game was last fri evening against o mahonys where they had a good win,with a score line of skryne 3.16 o mahonys 5.2. our second under 13 team were out against clonard on sat afternoon they also recorded a victory,skryne 3.10 clonard 2.8.
