Skryne bow out of LMFM Div 1 Minor Semi Final.

Skryne went into the Div 1 Shield Semi Final with some confidence after playing a challenge match against Ballymun Kickhams on a good display. The only down side was that of injuries to players with James Mangan still out and John Finnerty who had picked up an injury in the early part of the Ratoath game. John wasn’t fit to start but had the ankle strapped and was ready to come on if needed. Josh […]

Skryne vrs Gaeil Colmcilles U13s was as entertaining as it gets !!!

Skryne U13’s made the journey with the help of the parents to Grangegodden in Kells knowing they were in a semi final. The only thing to b decided was who to was have the home advantage. Grangegodden has three fantastic level playing pitches and is also open to the elements and especially that of a north wind. Weather was cool with a northerly breeze. Skryne warmed up on their first pitch on the left as […]

Skryne U15’s played Round Towers in the 3rd Round of the Championship at Father Mc Manus Park in Skryne. Up until the throw in weather conditions were ideal but then the rain came and did it pour down. Conditions were now far from ideal with the ball like a bar of soap. Both teams to there credit handled the conditions as well as they could. Skryne registered there first score with Josh Grendon splitting the […]

Skryne U15s feeling the “Blues” from missed opportunities

Skryne were left reeling the “Blues” from some missed opportunities in the first half. The game was played at Father Mc Manus Park on Sunday 2nd with a throw in of 11.30am. Again another cross wind was blowing and it was slippy under foot but it was certainly a great day for a game with a low sun shining down in Skryne. Coralstown Kinnegad arrived in Skryne with 15 players and Skryne had 17 players. […]
