U10 Boys Update

The Skryne U10′s have been busy over the summer months.  While the Meath GAA underage blitz programme took a break for July the lads were active playing in the Seneschalstown Challenge 2014.  This was a short series of games organized by Seneschalstown GFC and saw us playing U10 sides from Walterstown, St.Mary’s, Duleek Bellewstown, St.Pats and Seneschalstown.   In addition to these games the U10′s travelled to Edenderry to play against the Edenderry U10′s.  The […]

Skryne U12 Boys maintain their winning ways

For the second time in as many months, the Skryne U12 boys met with Trim for a league final in Dunsany. The Skryne boys had beaten a strong Summerhill side in the semi-final, and Trim were eagerly awaiting their chance to avenge the 2 point defeat of the Spring League final. Skryne Too Strong for St. Patricks.

Five Goal Skryne take points in Div one B League

Big week for the club as Meath take on Dublin in Croker.

Its a big week for the club with no shortage of representation from Skryne on the Meath team for the Leinster Final. Poor Performance from Skryne sees Navan O’Mahonys take both Points.

    Skryne 0 – 7; Navan O’Mahonys 7 – 11 Playing at home on Tuesday evening, Skryne turned in a very poor performance against Navan O’Mahonys which saw the visitors take both points from the game. Skryne U10 Blitz 21/6/14

Skryne U10s hosted a blitz on Saturday 21st June. The participating clubs included Walterstown and Summerhill. The U10s have been very active over the last few weeks, having already hosted a blitz in April the U10s have travelled to Moynalvey and Bohermeen for blitz days. Skryne U8 Blitz 21/06/14

On Saturday morning Skryne played host to Summerhill and Walterstown in the latest round of Meath GAA Go-Games blitz days. More than 80 children turned out in the morning sunshine and demonstrated their skills in a number of high scoring games. The scores are not recorded, as it is still non-competitive at this age.
