Skryne U15’s beat Navan O Mahonys to make it to the Final.

Well done to Skryne U15’s boys who are in a Final. This is now the Seventh Final the Skryne Underage have made. This is a great achievement by the Players, Managers & Mentors of Skryne boys Underage. The future looks very bright for  Skryne. The U15’s fought a tough game and Navan O Mahonys gave it there all to try and beat Skryne but the lads had other ideas. It was all level at half […]

Skryne Exit Under 21 Championship in Foggy Kilberry

Skryne 0 – 13; Simonstown 2 – 17 Skryne bowed out of this years under 21 championship in a match which looked very unlikely to proceed at the appointed time in Kilberry on Sunday 12 October.  However, having waited for over half an hour, referee Jason Smyth, who obviously has contact with a higher authority, decided to get the match under way despite extreme difficulty in seeing either goal from the centre of the […]

U6 Challenge Match

This was the last day of the season for Skryne and we fielded two teams against hosts Ratoath in this challenge game. Of course it’s non-competitive at this age but you wouldn’t think that to watch the determination in their faces as they blocked, […]

Skryne Bow out to Strong Navan O’Mahony’s side

Skryne’s ambitions it the Senior Football Championship for 2014 came to an end at the hands of old rivals Navan O’Mahony’s in Páirc Tailteann on Sunday afternoon.  By the time the eleventh minute had elapsed this match was effectively over as the Navan men had a commanding lead over Skryne when they were ahead by a goal and seven points to no score.  In fact it took until the sixteenth minute before Donie Ryan […]
