Simonstown got the better of Skryne in the B league Division 1 match played in Skryne on Wednesday evening. Cyril Carty had skryne ahead with two well taken points after five minutes. This was cancelled out by the end of the first quarter. Simonstown went on to post a further seven unanswered points before the referee Patrick Coyle blew for half time. Although the Navan side failed to score in the second half, points from Niall Lenehan, Alan Carty, Jamie Jordan and Adam O’Sullivan were not enough to overhaul the lead. Simonstown finished on top with three points to spare.
