It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our former Chairperson Jim Pentony. Jim served as Chairperson in 1994 and was a great supporter of Skryne GFC. While Jim never lined out for Skryne as a player, his 4 sons James, Louis, Marky and Kenny all played in the Senior ranks with Louis captaining Skryne in their Senior Championship victory in 1993.
Jim will be remembered as a pure gentleman who was always jovial and good humoured. He was a regular visitor to Fr. McManus Park and other GAA grounds around the county.
Our condolences go to his wife Marie, sons James, Louis, Marky and Kenny and all the extended Pentony family.
