Skryne U13’s played Kill Gaa Club in a cross borders game with the initiative based on playing different clubs outside of Meath. This was the U13’s first competitive game.
The game was played in Skryne on the 28th with a throw in of 4.30pm. It was an exciting game with both sides playing at a high tempo on a full size pitch. With that in mind there was always going to be plenty of goals scored. Well done to the Skryne lads with Five of the players 11 Years old due to some players away. In fact the front Three were only 11 and didn’t look one bit out of place. There was plenty of running for all the players to blow the cob webs.
Congrats to Skryne & Kill that the game finished in a draw and truth be told it would have been unfair on both sides had one of lost.
Well done Skryne and the future is bright.
