Hard luck the the U12’s against Seneschalstown GFC in the Semi Final in Seneschalstown. Great credit has to go to both teams and neighbouring parishes who gave a great display in Gaelic Football. Gredit has to go to Seneschalstown with some fantastic point kicking. Skryne on the other hand fought tooth and nail for every ball. Skryne had the victory over Seneschalstown last year and this year it was to be Seneschalstown who were rightful winners. Saying that Skryne is a very young team that will bounce back and when you mention Skryne to anyone they always mention the never give up attitude, grit and determination. It was a game that you couldnt take your Eyes off.
Skryne want to wish Seneschalstown GFC all the best of luck in the final and I am sure there will be many a more great game against each other.
The rest for Skryne U12’s will be short lived as they play Grenagh GAA Club tomorrow in Skryne as Grenagh travel up from Cork.
Im sure there are alot of tired and sore bodies this evening but there is also better days to come.
