The Skryne U10’s have been busy over the summer months. While the Meath GAA underage blitz programme took a break for July the lads were active playing in the Seneschalstown Challenge 2014. This was a short series of games organized by Seneschalstown GFC and saw us playing U10 sides from Walterstown, St.Mary’s, Duleek Bellewstown, St.Pats and Seneschalstown.
In addition to these games the U10’s travelled to Edenderry to play against the Edenderry U10’s. The opportunity to play clubs outside Meath is always welcome and the lads certainly enjoyed themselves and came out on top in each of the four matches played. Credit and thanks is due to Edenderry for hosting the matches and providing some refreshments after the games.
The Meath blitz Programme recommences Saturday 09th August when Skryne will host teams from Dunderry and Summerhill. The remaining blitz dates for 2014 are as follows:
