Hard luck to the U12’s who were just beaten in the U12’s final in Pairc Tailteann by Five points. With Skryne ahead by three points at half time the lads battled hard against a determined Walterstown side, Great credit has to go to Skryne who showed a fantastic display of catching defending and point kicking. The game was decided in the final 10mins when both Skryne & Walterstown traded scores against each other. It was fantastic to play in Pairc Tailteann where alot of the young players look up to their idols. Though the score didnt go their way there is alot of potential in the players who will were the green and gold in the near future.
Congratulations to Walterstown on the win and I have no doubt that both sides will have plenty a good game against each other that will bring both teams on well.
The Skryne players can hold there heads high and and as club and parents we are very proud of what they have all achieved.
