Skryne U16 boys have now qualified for the division 2 championship semi final after defeating Longwood/Ballivor in a play off on Sunday evening in windswept Dunganny.
Skryne played with wind advantage in the first half and built up a commanding 2-10 to 1-0 lead at half time.
Although they battled hard with wind advantage in the second half Ballivor/Longwood got little change from the Skryne boys who adopted the tactics of their manager’s native county – Donegal – working the ball patiently up the field and defending in numbers.
